After a big fight with its last licence holder, Hanzbet seems to have gotten back on its feet.

After a disagreement that made it stop doing business, the brand Hanzbet has now said that it will work with BigBet to run the Brazil betting market together.

Earlier this month, it was revealed that Hanzbet would stop doing business in the licensed Brazil betting market after a disagreement with EA Entretenimento e Esportes Ltda (EA), the company that holds its licence in Brazil.

But on Monday, Hanzbet said that the company had made a formal deal to partner with BigBet, one of the three brands that work under Big Brazil's licence.

Big Brazil also owns the Apostar brand and Caesars Sportsbook.

The corporations say that the move will make the brands more well-known in the regulated sector and provide Brazilian bettors more choices.

Rodrigo Cariola, CEO of Big Brazil/BigBet, said, "This merger is more than just a partnership between the two companies; it's a strong step towards making the Brazilian regulated betting market stronger."  "We are still committed to following the rules, playing responsibly, and giving everyone a great experience."

Gabriel Martins, CEO of Hanzbet, said, "We know how much trust HanzBet has built up in the iGaming industry, with partners, affiliates, and service providers."

"We have always acted with honesty, earnestness, and loyalty.  We will keep going, and with a wonderful brand like BigBet, we are stronger than ever.

We don't know what the merger will signify right now, but it could mean that BigBet takes over Hanzbet's customers and operations.

The corporations said they will soon give more information about how they will run.

 What happened to Hanzbet?
Hanzbet says that the EA announcement on the brand's closure was made public without its permission. Founder and CMO Eduardo Peres says that he and his team were suddenly cut off from all internal communication and decision-making.

Peres wrote on LinkedIn that the partnership with EA was a "true operational dictatorship" and that the license holder was purposefully sending Hanzbet users to another EA brand, BateuBet.

Peres further said that EA was taking money out of the company while telling consumers they had to take money out of Hanzbet before it closed on July 31, which made it impossible to make withdrawals.

iGB contacted both Hanzbet and EA about Peres' claims, but neither has replied yet.

Even if things have been hard lately, Peres is excited about the new chapter with BigBet and thanks Big Brazil for believing in Hanzbet.

Peres wrote on LinkedIn, "After everything we've been through with the HanzBet case, today we turn around with our heads held high and stronger."  "They did everything they could to bury HanzBet."  They forgot that the end only comes to those who give up, which was never us.
