New World Series of Poker schedule for 2022 is announced

The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is prepared to relocate to Bally's, the new Horseshoe Casino, and the Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino after a fruitful 17-year run at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. The event's 53rd iteration is scheduled to begin in May, and the future 2022 programme was just released by the event's organisers. The tournaments in Las Vegas begin on May 31 and are scheduled to run through July 20.

Information about the Series

The WSOP will have a larger capacity than ever before because to the new venue's ample conference area. The WSOP has access to more than 150,000 square feet of area with 600 poker tables by utilising both casinos. Events will be available for players to participate in, with buy-ins ranging from $400 to $250,000.

The main cage will be located in the Paris Las Vegas, and TV set staging will take place at Bally's Event Centre. Visitors may easily reach the two buildings because they are linked and have a single parking lot. Players may participate in The Housewarming event, which has a $500 buy-in and a massive $5 million prize pool guarantee, during the first weekend of play.

Of course, the $10,000 buy-in Main Event has returned, with the No-Limit Hold'em World Championship format. Over 6,600 people entered the competition the previous year, and this year is predicted to be no different. The competition will begin on July 4 and run until the final table on July 15–16.

With its relocation to the centre of the Las Vegas Strip and debut in the greatest facilities we've ever had, the WSOP is experiencing a very historic year this one, according to Executive Director Ty Stewart. At our housewarming celebration at Bally's, the soon-to-be Horseshoe, and Paris, we're prepared to receive players from all over the world. This year's WSOP is expected to be the greatest and most anticipated one ever because of the schedule's abundance of top-notch events.

The WSOP will collaborate with CBS Sports to provide daily PokerGO tournament streaming coverage. There will be at least 15 hours of coverage dedicated to the Main Event, one of 18 bracelet events that will be shown on television. Players who are unable to go to Las Vegas may at least watch the action live thanks to the numerous watching options.

Operations Information for 2022

Players should take into account a few operational points in relation to the 2022 WSOP. First, the series will adhere to all COVID-19 local, state, and CDC regulations. This year, vaccinations are not required, but players are still required to abide by CDC recommendations.

The WSOP also exhorts participants to register for tournament events using the online or mobile registration method. This procedure will aid in reducing significant crowding and lines at the sites. Anyone who registers online is required to verify identity in person in the Champagne Ballroom at the Paris Las Vegas convention centre.
